Claudette Haydel Favorite, resident of Edgard, Louisiana, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband Larry Favorite and children Darrin (Terese) Favorite and Karlyn Jones. She is also survived by her mother Annette Joseph and siblings Terry Moore, Melinda (Mitchell) Edwards, Judy Bastian and Edna (Kelvin) Harris. She is also survived by eight cherished grandchildren, Keisha, Darrilyn, Ambrey, Roderick Jr., Kaylon, Darrian, Cortney and Caffrey Jr., two great grandchildren, Ayden and Demi, two godchildren Shawn Lewis and Melanie Taylor, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Favorite is preceded in death by her father Warren Haydel, her children Conrad Favorite and Jacqueline Larkins, grandparents Omer (Violet) Joseph and Clement (Edna) Haydel and son in law Carlo Jones. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Second African Baptist Church, 136 West 3rd Street, Edgard, LA 70049 on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11 AM. Interment Young Cemetery in Edgard, LA. Visitation 9 AM IN THE CHURCH.
