Margaret "Ma'am" Emma Vessel was born January 27, 1942. At the age of 75, Margaret (Ma'am) departed this life in the comfort of her daughter on Thursday, May 25, 2017. Margaret (Ma'am) was the daughter of the late Mary Virginia Davis and Nolan Vessel and stepdaughter of Matthews Davis. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted companion Buford Newsome; daughter, Jacqueline A. Gray-Day, son-in-law George A. Day, granddaughters Jacquel A. Day and Joynell A. Day; great grandchildren, Jayla S. Curley and Khristan S. Hamilton. Margaret (Ma'am) was the niece of Dorothy Winfield and Godmother of Troy Cummins, Melinda Newsome and Larry Hankton, Jr. Margaret (Ma'am) also leaves a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of life will be held at My Redeemer Missionary Baptist Church, 2829 Washington Ave., on Saturday, June 10, 2017at 10 AM promptly. Interment Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum. Visitation 8 AM IN THE CHURCH.
