Daniel Anthony Neveaux, better known as "Dennis" departed this life on Friday, January 5, 2018. Mr. Neveaux was a jack of all trades and master of all as he worked as a longshoreman for The Port of New Orleans for 20 years and the Housing Authority for 10 years. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Shelia Simmons-Neveaux and dedicated himself to his wife and their family. Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Shelia; mother, Amelia Neveaux Farrell; seven children, Alexis, Danielle, Diamond, Danna and Dannice Simmons, Daniel A. Jr. and Destiny Neveaux; five step-children, Randall, Montrell, Victoria, Shaquille and Latoya Carr; two brothers, Michael Neveaux and Daron J. Wright; seven sisters, Kim Neveaux-Tanwar (Brijesh Tanwar), Phillyis Neveaux, TroyLynn Neveaux-Edward (Harold D. Sr.), Eliska Davis, Yvette Neveaux (Mack Monroe), Tricia and Charlotte Neveaux; the late Eric J. Neveaux. Nephew of Nora Boutte. Also preceded in death by both, maternal grandmother, Albertine Neveaux and paternal grandmother. Also survived by a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral services will be held at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10 AM. Interment St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery (Soniat Street). Visitation 9 AM
