Mrs. Everlee Dolores Hayes Knight or "Dolores" as she was known, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late James W. Knight Jr.; and loving mother of James W. Knight III of San Francisco, California and Healon D. Knight of Sacramento, California. Dolores also leaves to cherish her memory siblings, Wilford "June"Hayes Jr. (Wilhelmena Hayes) of Apopka, Florida, Wilhelmena Reed and Glendora Hunter (Morace Hunter) of Inglewood, California, Blanche Hayes of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings Horace Hayes, Doretha Stewart, Hollis Hayes and Alvin Hayes Sr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Mrs. Everlee Dolores Hayes Knight at Charbonnet Labat Glapion, Chapel of Roses, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
