Dorothy Heisser Vincent entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ancile Heisser and Florence Bozant Smith; stepfather, Willie O. Smith; siblings, Joyce H. Winians and Inez H. Barnes; son, Calvin A. Vincent, Sr.; and grandson, Shaun R. Vincent, Sr.
She is survived by four children: Earlin M. Vincent and Nile J. Vincent, Sr.(wife Carolyn) of Garland, Texas, and Wilbert S. Vincent (wife Saundra) and Earl S.Vincent (wife Myrna) of New Orleans, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, January 30, 2018, 10:00am, at Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 Saint Bernard, Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana, Rev. David Begany, S.S.J. officiating. Visitation from 9:00am to the hour of service with reflections beginning at 9:30am. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
