On Thursday, August 9, 2018 Freddie J. Sambrone, Sr. at age of 97 was called home to be with the Lord. He was born on August 19, 1920 to the late Henry Sambrone and Irene Johnson. Beloved husband of the late Junita Doucette Sambrone. Loving father of Freddie Jr. (Connie), Brendal Stewart (Larry), Barbara S. Jordan (Harvey), Cheryl S. Varnado, Gleen Sambrone and Glenda S. Wise (Anthony). Freddie also leaves to mourn 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a devoted life long friend Rudy Smith. Relatives and friends also Employees of New Orleans Municipal and Traffic Court, Jefferson Parish Schools, LSU Healthcare Network, ATC Home Health LLC, City of Houston, Crescent Bank, Harrah's Casino, New Orleans Opera Assoc, Home Depot, McDonalds and Parishioners of St. Raymond and St. Leo the Great Catholic Church are invited to attend the home going celebration at St. Raymond and St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2916 Paris Ave. New Orleans, LA 70119 on Saturday, August 18, 2018.Visitation 9:00 AM and Mass beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Roch #2 Cemetery
