Derrick Recasner entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the age of 51. He worked for Federal Mogul in Smyrna, Tennessee before returning to his hometown New Orleans. He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved mother Jacqueline Recasner, wife Pamela Recasner, his children Jada, Derek, Darius, Dariel, Erica, Eric, Shane Sydnei Jones, Shawn and Stephon McGill. Siblings Anthony Recasner, Donica Bruce (David), and Dennis Recasner (Lisa); step -sisters Carolyn Dorsey (Felix), Vanessa Broomfield (Dallas) and Trenice Bell. Preceded in death by his father James Bell and one brother Michael Recasner. Also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:00 Am at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home in the Chapel of Roses 1615 St. Philip St., New Orleans, LA 70116.
