Mary Jane Harris passed away peacefully in the arms of our Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2018. She was born on March 07, 1935 in New Orleans, LA to the late Joseph and Linnie Anderson. Mary is survived by her beloved husband Roland Harris, Sr.; their children Larry (Andre) Tero, Ronnie (Kim) Tero, Rochele Jones (James) Stroder, Terry (Rhonda) Frank and Dana Harris. Loving grandmother of twenty three grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Linnie Anderson, sisters in law Marva (Willie) Lewis, Shelia (Richard) Albright, Debra George, Myra Harris and brother in law Norman (Pat) Harris. Mary is preceded in death by her children Albert Tero, Martha Homestead and Roland Harris, Jr., five brothers Acie, Daniel, Willie, Joshua and Felton Anderson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Mrs. Harris on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 at 10:00 AM Rev.
