Ella T. Brown a lifelong resident of New Orleans peacefully departed this life on Thursday September 27, 2018 at the age of 92. Ella graduated from high school and went to Straight Business School where she earned a degree. This led to a job with the United States Department of Agriculture as a Staffing Specialist where she later retired after 25 years of service. Ella accepted Christ at an early age and served on the Deaconess and Outreach Ministry. She is survived by her grandson Curtis Randall Brown and a host of other relatives and friends, Rodney Taylor (Irma), Byron Taylor (Tyra), Patricia Jackson, Sharon Toefield, Michelle Jones, Monica Williams, Debra Spears, Alma Jean, Alicia, and Amaria Matthews, Rose, Shirley, Thelma, Joann, Nathaniel, Jaron, Arthur, and George Clark, Sandra Gabriel, Shirley (Clifton) Weaver, Mary Wallace, Nathan Washington Jr. (Frances), Nathan Washington. Sr., and Erving Adams. She is preceded in death by her parents James C. and Aszlee C.Taylor, son Edward Brown, Jr., brothers Henry Spears, Willie and Earl Taylor. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life services on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church No. 2, 2601 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA.
