Sadie Louise McPherson Doss peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the age of 97. She was a native of Hariston, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA. She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her three children, Lorraine, Luther (Tina) Doss and Carolyn (Salim) Hasan; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Sadie is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Walker McPherson and Golder Dunbar; husband Adam Doss, Jr., son Melvin Doss; three brothers, two sisters and a host of relatives. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of First Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church; The City of Love Church; St. Jude Catholic Church; Beacon Light Church, employees of Harrah's Casino New Orleans and Covenant Nursing Home are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration of Life honoring Sadie Doss at First Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 2919 Sixth Street, New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
