Gloria Jean Weathersby entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the age of 65. She is survived in death by two loving sisters Margia (Eric) Fobbs and Claire Weathersby -Boyd and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was a retired employee the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA). Gloria was preceded in death by both her parents Laton and Lillie Veals Weathersby (Bates), seven brothers Johnny, Eddie, Willie James, Larry, Carl, Laton, Jr. and Milton and one sister Annie Matthews. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life service on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Beacon Light International Baptist Cathedral. A pre-service viewing will start at 9:00 AM. A post-service Interment ceremony will be held at the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Liberty Mississippi.
