Lonnell 'Lonnie: Brister, Jr. departed his earthly life after having lengthy illness on , Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Butterfly Wing Hospice in Baton Rouge at the age of 48. Lonnie a native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge. He is survived by his devoted mother Sherrin Jordan Brister. Father Lonnell Brister, Sr. (Florence) of Baton Rouge. A sister Terumi Brister Bell Houston ,Texas, nieces Kelby Bell Balton (Elbis) Baton Rouge and Melodie Bell Houston, Texas, nephew Shyrone Coler Houston, Texas, maternal grandfather Henry Jordan, Sr. New Orleans. Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Winnie Jordan and paternal grandparents Peardee and Zenobie Brister. also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10:00 Am at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home 1615 St. Philip St., New Orleans, LA in the Chapel of Roses.
