Gloria Mackey Aiken entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the age of 91. She was born to the late Mark Maximilian Mackey and Alphonsine Gagnet Mackey. She leaves to cherish her memories three children Jerome Anthony Aiken, Jane Mackey Russ and Eunice Mackey Johnson; and one brother Lloyd Mackey. Five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death one daughter later Elaine Aiken Celestain; two brothers Joseph Bigard and George Varnum. Relatives and friends are invite to The Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip St., NOLA Visitation begins at 9:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
