Sterling Joseph "Joey" Cardon, III went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 35. Beloved son of Sterling Joseph Cardon Jr. and Vicki M. Cardon. Loyal and loving brother of Caeti C. Cashman, Nicholas J. Cardon and Angela C. Cardon. Grandson of Emily H. Cardon and the late Sterling J. Cardon, Sr.,Victor & Sarah Misuraca. Also survived by his crew of four-legged comrades Sebastian, Gator and Battle. Joey's love for his extended family included many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Joey was born on January 9, 1983 and was raised in St. Bernard Parish, attending Holy Cross & Andrew Jackson High Schools. Starting off as a young boy, his love of muddy water matured into a love of dusty canyons. Searching for a means of expression, Joey fell head over heels with the canvas, brush and camera. No matter how dark the clouds, his light never dimmed, as a giving friend to so many. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life honoring Joey at Faithful Word Assembly, 1401 Joe Yenni Blvd. Kenner, LA 70065 on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 6 PM. Interment PRIVATE. Visitation will begin at 3 PM IN THE CHURCH. A reception will be held immediately after services.
