Obituary for Ella Mae Ridgley

Ella Mae Ridgley a retired Telephone Technician at Ochsner Main Campus peacefully transitioned this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at the age of 72. Mrs. Ridgley was born in Lakeland, LA. She was a lifelong residence of New Orleans, La. She was a member of the Greater Little Rock Baptist Church for many years and a member of Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter Michelle Delis Ridgley, 5 grandchildren DeShawn Ridgley, Damon Ridgley, Jamie Thomas-Harrison, Tychelle Ridgley and Corey Hale; 8 great-grandchildren. also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers, member of Greater Little Rock, Carver Desire, New Kingdom, The Rock F. G. C., St. Mark Baptist Churches, New Orleans, LA and Living Faith Baptist Cathedral, Birmingham, Al, members of Organizations, Community Fellowship Auxiliary, employees of South Central Bell, AT& T Telephone Company, Volunteers of American, USDA-NFC, NOPD Juvenile Division, Williamson Eye Center, Baton Rouge General Hospital, University Medical Center are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark Baptist Church, 1501 Ursulines Ave., New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM. Bishop Ronnie London will officiate. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
