Walter Lee Tate Sr., resident of New Orleans, LA entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 17, 2018 at age 69. He leaves to cherish precious memories to his wife Jacqueline Tate, children, Walter Jr., Joel Tate, Kevin Herbert, Tara Tate Foster (Lamar) and Kenyatta Herbert. Two brothers Zelvade Tate (Brenda) and Ronald Tate (Bridgette). Four sisters, Mary Leaper, Gloria Selmon, Darlene Tate and Priscilla Foster. Grandchildren Taliyah Foster, Rosentalyn Tate, Jueles Bodden, Genesis Foster, Jaycion Tate, Camryn, Chole and Faith Foster. Friends Lee, Lionel, George and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Also, Mr. Tate Sr., was preceded in death by his parents Ollie Sr. and Lorene Tate. Brothers Johnny Tate, Chris Tate, Ollie Tate Jr., Lawrence Tate and aunt Jessie Varnado. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Mr. Walter Lee Tate Sr., on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Celebration Church, 525 Commerce Avenue, Gretna, LA 70056 at 11:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Visitation 9 AM IN THE CHURCH.
