Isaac John Cyres, Jr., 65, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Isaac served United States Army from 1972-1979 and retired from the United States Postal Service as Motor Vehicle Operator. He was the son of the late Isaac John Cyres and Dolores W. Cyres, brother of the late Michael Cyres and Myrtle Richardson. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife Cathy Vappie Cyres, his daughters Katrina (Brent) Carroll, Jo'ntell Cyres, Iesha Bourgeois, son, Isaac Bourgeois, and stepdaughter Cathy Vappie. Brothers Tyrone, Glen, Edward, Brian. Also, survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home 1615 St. Philip St. New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM. Interment southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery Slidell, LA.
