Barbara Rita Meyers Wilson, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Before Barbara became a homemaker, she worked as a child care provider for Catholic Charities, where she later retired. Barbara leaves behind her devoted and loving husband, Jesse Wilson, Sr. and her only sister, Francis (Anthony) Tasker. Barbara was also the proud mother of Wanda Bonner Boudreaux, Sheila Bonner (Alvin) Chapital, Stephanie Johnson, Jesse Wilson, Jr., Fay Wilson. She also was blessed and able to witness all sixteen grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Meyers and Mary Cousin Brazile. She will be sadly missed by many. A private Memorial Service will be held in honor of Mrs. Barbara Wilson.
