Andrew "Buddy Buddy/Junior" Robertson, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 27, 2020.He was the only child born on November 3, 1929 to his loving parents, the late Gladys and Andrew Robertson Sr. Husband of the late Gloria W. Robertson, and proud father of Patricia Robertson, Scymentress R. Davis and Sylvinell R. Thomas (Rodney), Mr. Robertson was lovingly called "Paw Paw", by his fourteen grand, eleven great and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by five children, Andrew Robertson, III, Vanessa R. Quinn, Darnell Robertson, Carey Robertson and Douglas Robertson; three grandchildren, Andrew Robertson, IV, Ezall Quinn, Jr. and Milan Arriola. Godfather of Morris Joseph. Mr. Robertson was baptized at True Vine Baptist Church by Rev. Donald JeanJacques. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and upon returning home worked as a carpenter, plasterer and also played the saxophone. He was a member of the Masonic Temple and the proud owner of "The Little People's Place", formerly "Junior's Place" for 30 years. A funeral service honoring the life of Andrew "Buddy Buddy/Junior" Robertson, Jr. will be held at True Vine Baptist Church, 2008 Marigny Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11 a.m., Rev Donald JeanJacques, Officiating. As mandated by the State of Louisiana due to the Covid 19 pandemic, attendance is limited. Everyone is required to adhere to all restrictions. You must wear a face mask and practice social distancing. Interment private. Visitation 9 a.m. in the church.
