Wallace L. Young, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 15, 2020. Beloved husband of Myra Narcisse Young. Son of the late Wallace L. Young, Sr. and the late Laura McCarthy Turner. Father of Clint, Shelly, Penny (Wendell) and Bonnie. Grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Brother of Ellis Young, Sr. (Marlene), the late Raymond Young, Sr., (Hilda) and Betty Ann Miller. Brother-in-law of the late Darril Narcisse (Joyce) and Ellis Narcisse, Sr. (Joy). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Wallace L. Young, Jr. will be held at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 5029 Louisa Street, New Orleans, LA. 70126 on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 10 am. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation 8:30 am in the church, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9 am. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone in attendance is required to wear masks and practice social distancing. Contact tracing is required. Strictly enforced. Only 70 people may be in attendance for the Mass, however, there is no restriction for visitation.
