Darlene Ann Ricks entered into rest on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Daughter of the late Darlene Ricks. Darlene is survived by her adopted mother, Elenor Ricks; sister, Valene Ricks of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Eric (Laura) Ricks of Nashville, TN; Danny Jr. and Stanley Ricks of Gonzales, LA; stepsister, Shirley Short; aunts, Bobby Jay Auguillard and Bobbie Ealy. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service honoring the life of Darlene Ann Ricks will be held at New Home Ministries, 13800 Hayne Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70128 on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10 a.m., Rev. Samuel Blakes, officiating. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 9 a.m. in the church. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone in attendance is required to adhere to all restrictions. You must wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
