In addition to her parents, Faye was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Clarence Stewart. After graduating from Warren Easton Senior High School, completing her Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University and a Masters of Education from the University of New Orleans, Faye navigated a 34 year career with the Orleans, Baton Rouge and Caddo Parish School systems as a Speech Therapist and Educational Diagnostician. Faye reveled in retired life spending her free time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending festivals (Each and Every one in NOLA and beyond), traveling and simply having a good time. Faye loved talking to anyone and everyone …never meeting a stranger.
