It is with profound sadness and much love that the family of Dolores G. Moore (née Richardson), a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA announce her peaceful passing on Monday, January 18, 2021, at the age of 86. Dolores was born to the union of the late Andrew Richardson, Jr. and Geneva Alexander Richardson. Loving wife of the late James Moore. Mother of the late Jerome Charles Richardson. She leaves to cherish precious memories, brothers, Harold Richardson (Deborah) and Larry Richardson (Glendell); Sister-in-Law, Rose Mary Richardson, as well as numerous family members and lifelong friends who both loved and cherished her. In addition to her husband, parents and son, Dolores was also preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Richardson, IIII. She was a staple of her childhood neighborhood in the lower ninth where she was dearly loved and cared for by so many. A Private Celebration honoring the life of Mrs. Dolores Gertrude Moore was held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 0n Monday, January 25, 2021 at 10 am, Rev. Dr. Donald Jeanjacques, Sr. of True Vine Baptist Church, Officiated. Interment will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 10 am.
