Obituary for Earl Andrews

Earl 'Squirrel' Andrews, a resident of New Orleans, LA was born on February 19, 1949 to the late Rudolph Andrews and Ruth Bierra. He passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Earl grew up in Treme and was educated in the Orleans Parish Public School System. He was employed by Boh Brothers Construction Company where he retired. In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Ann McCann; brothers, Robert (Lucile), Nelson, Lloyd (Lorraine), and Rudolph Martin, lll. He leaves to cherish his memory siblings, James (Gaynell), Kieth, Donald, Sidney Martin and Michelle Martin;. daughters, Angelica Brown, Kendra McCann, Kyotta (Sam) Bell, Nadia (Andrian) O'Connor and Rachnique McCann- (Johnathan) King; Goddaughters, Sharon Becnel, Chariese Shelley and Jada Bruce. Also survived by fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren as well as a host of cousins, uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends. Staff and Employees of Boh Brothers Construction; Residents of Marrero Commons and the Treme neighborhood are invited to attend the funeral. A Home going service honoring the life of Earl "Squirrel" Andrews will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday January 30, 2021at 2 PM. Interment private. Visitation 1 PM in the chapel.
