Rose Marie Roberts (Brown), August 28, 1944- February 11, 2021 was hospitalized and lost her fight in the Ochsner Slidell Medical Center – North Shore Hospital, Slidell, LA in her 76th year of life. Daughter of the late Frank Brown and Pearl Weary Russ; Wife of the late Isaac, Sr. Mother of the late Annie Pearl and Cynthia Lynn Roberts; Grandmother of the late Danny Joseph Roberts. Also preceded in death by siblings, Thaddeus, Dorothy Peters and Lela Mae Thompson Francis. Mrs. Roberts is survived by her beloved children, Ann Marie Roberts Peterson (Paul), Isaac, III, Lela McAfee (Nathan); seven grandchildren, Charlita Street (Kellup), Celine Dimes (Darryl), Joyce Smith (Larry), Rochard McAfee (Han), Kevin Roberts, Alexis McAfee and Isaac Roberts, IV ;twenty great grandchildren, Langston, Dannisha, Jamari, Jerquan, Danny, Jr., Arran, Donshana, Diary, Darryl Jr., Donald, Charles Dimes, Jr., Devon, Kellup, Jr., Chandler, Kevin Jr., Khristian, Kayleh, Jace, Lela Roseann and Mila Rose. She will be missed by her sisters Eva Beavers of Varnado, Louisiana, Elouise Bernard of Bogalusa, LA and Katrina Bell (Wilbert) of Milwaukee. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. A Viewing will be held at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Wednesday February 24, 2021 from 12 noon until 2 PM. A Funeral Service honoring the life of Rose Marie Roberts will be held at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, 809 East Third Street Bogalusa, LA on Thursday, February 25th 2021 at 11 AM, Reverend Charlie L. Parker Sr., Officiating. A Drive through viewing will be held from 10 AM to 10 :50 AM at Crain and Sons in Bogalusa. Interment at Thompson Cemetery, 30388 Blue Boy Thompson Road, Angie, LA.
