Clinton Mekhi Tyree Lawrence "Pooda" was born in New Orleans, LA on June 28, 2002 to Aiyisha Marie Smothers and Clinton Lawrence, Jr. He was a graduate of Warren Easton High School and attended Southern University at New Orleans. Clinton was an ambitious, kind-hearted, respectful and generous young man. He was an aspiring artist who spent a lot of time working towards having a successful future as a Real Estate Investor and writing music lyrics to jump start his music career. Clinton was the eldest of his siblings and cousins. On Tuesday, February 16, 2021 Clinton physically left this earth and left behind a family that loves him very much. He will be missed by his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends. A Memorial Service honoring the life of Clinton Mekhi Tyree Lawrence will be held at Beacon Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1937 Mirabeau Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70122 on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11 AM, Bishop Darryl S. Brister, Officiating. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, seating in the Church is limited. Everyone in attendance is required to adhere to all restrictions.
