Shannon Renee Taylor passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the age of 40 years. She was born in New Orleans, LA on January 8, 1981 to Fannie B. Taylor-Tobias and Nicholas Taylor, Jr. Shannon worked as a Security Supervisor at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. She was preceded in death by both, her maternal and paternal grandparents, two aunts and one uncle. In addition to her parents, Shannon is also survived by her loving children, Jerimiah Taylor-Smith, Beltisha Nettles, Amber Taylor and Jamaica Taylor; siblings, Shantell Taylor, Rasheed Watkins, Shandrell Lewis and Frank Taylor; grandmother, Winnie Brown and devoted fiance', Jahlil Amir Bey. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration Service honoring the life of Shannon Renee Taylor will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Family Services, 4917 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA 70092. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10 AM. Interment Star Hill CME Church Cemetery, Gloster, MS. 39638. Visitation 9 am in the chapel.
