Marcel P. "ROCKO" Albert, Sr. passed away on February 23, 2021 at the age of 55. Marcel is survived by his wife Cassandra "Cassie" Albert, a daughter, Ashley Briscoe; sons Marcel Jr. and Darryl Suarez; stepson, Christopher Dorsey, Terrence and Corey Dunbar; his father Harry Albert, Sr,; sisters Garmanne Mack, Karen Albert and Claire Rodman; brothers Harry Jr. and Darryl Albert. He is also survived by members of the New Orleans Police Department and St Mary's Academy, as well as, members of the communities he served. Marcel was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara P. Albert (2011). Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA, on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11 AM. Visitation begins at 9AM in the church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
