Dionne Leticia Williams, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA was born on August 9, 1982 to Claire S. Williams and Robert Doty. During her formative years, she attended Phillips Elementary School and Gregory Junior High School. She was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark Senior High School, Class of 2000. Dionne was passionate about politics. She believed every vote counted and made sure she voted in every election. After suffering a seizure while asleep, Dionne was called to rest in the Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the age of 38. "Deedy", as she was so lovingly called, will be missed by all. She leaves to cherish her memory, beloved mother, Claire Williams; one sister, Angela Williams; one nephew, Robert Eames; one niece, Alyssa Eames; two aunts, Barbara Williams and Joyce Anderson. Also survived by a host of cousins, other family members and friends. Dionne will be memorialized at Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003 on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11 AM. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
