Leon Langlois, age 64, A native New Orleanian and resident of St. Bernard Parish (Violet, LA) for 20 years, entered into eternal rest on Saturday March 20, 2021. Mr. Langlois was born to the union of the late Leroy Langlois and Alberta Jackson Langlois James. He attended George Washington Carver Senior High School. Devoted husband of Sandra Karen Green Langlois for 42 years. Loving father of Kaihnna L. Langlois. Brother of Rev. Dianne L. Dorsey (Irvin), Dessie L. Batiste (Merrick), Patricia L. Ellzey (Thaddeus), Rev. Larry Langlois (Kimberly), Henry Langlois (Mary) and the late Leroy Langlois ( Tammy). Foster brother of John V. Lee and the late Kenneth Lyons. He was reared by Joseph and Louella Davis. Brother-in- law of Sophia Isaac (Kelvin, Sr.), Sonia Karla Joseph (Ronald), Simone Santiago, Samuel Kevin Green (Fay), and Stephan Green (Chana Picquet). In addition to being a loving husband, father and a dear friend to many, Leon was a servant of the Lord at St. Andrew Baptist Church, serving on the Usher Board for many years. Relatives and Friends; Pastor, Officers and Members of St. Andrew Baptist and all other neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral. A drive through viewing will be held at Charbonnet Family Services, 4917 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet LA 70092 on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 3 PM until 6 PM. A Celebration service honoring the life of Mr. Leon Langlois will be held at St. Andrew Baptist Church, 2823 English Turn Road, Braithwaite, LA 70040 on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11 AM, Pastor Milton Perkins, Officiating. Interment Mount Olivet Mausoleum, New Orleans, LA. Visitation 9 am in the church.
