Donovan Lee Brown Sr., was born on July 25, 1973 in New Orleans, LA and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Atlanta, GA. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his mother, Barbara Brown; siblings, Derrick Brown, Darwin (Kellie) Brown and Karen Johnson; son, Dontrell Brown; nieces and nephews, Calisha, Derin, Dallis and Denver Brown; Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Donovan was preceded in death by his father, Lee Brown, Jr; grandparents, Eddie and Margaret Cotton, Lee Brown, Sr. and Rosalie Robinson; one son, Donovan Lee Brown, Jr. Donovan attended Phyllis Wheatley, A. J. Bell and Gregory Junior High School. He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Class of 1991. A Celebration of Life honoring the late Mr. Donovan Lee Brown, Sr. will be held in the Chapel of the Roses of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1 PM. A public visitation will begin at 12 noon.
