Obituary for Betty Paulin

Betty Muriel Paulin, was the eldest child born to Joseph White and Cleola Rose D'Arensbourg in Reserve, LA on June 3rd, 1927. She departed this life on April 13th 2021 at her home of over fifty years surrounded by family. Wife of the late famed New Orleans trumpeter, Ernest "Doc" Paulin, Sr. Loving mother of Ernest, Jr., Lawrence, Joyce, Bryant, Elizabeth Powell, Aaron, Dwayne, Kim, Scott, Philip, Roderick and Dirk; Affectionate pillar of Twenty-two grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Beloved sister of Jewel White-Sanders and was preceded in death by four brothers and two other sisters. Betty was an active member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Katharine Drexel, (formerly Holy Ghost Catholic Church) for over fifty plus years. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of the late Mrs. Betty Muriel Paulin at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 2015 Louisiana Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115 on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 11 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery # 1. Visitation 10 AM in the church.
