Gwendolyn Marie Ellis entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Charles H. Ellis, Sr. Daughter of the late Helen R. Joseph and Edward Dillion. She leaves to cherish precious memories seven children, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ellis was also preceded in death by one son, Birdell Young, Jr. A Celebration of Life honoring Mrs. Gwendolyn Marie Ellis will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10 AM, Bishop-Elect Tyrone Jefferson, Jr., Officiating.
