Obituary for Warren Freeman

Warren Freeman, age 67, was born on September 14, 1953 in New Orleans LA to the union of the late Warren B. Freeman, Sr. and Dolores P. Freeman Landry. He departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in the comfort of his loyal wife Kim and his law, Kazell. Affectionately known as, "Cherry Top", He was a member of One More Time Social Aid and Pleasure Club. In addition to his parents, Warren was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Kernal "Snook" Landry and brother, Daryl Landry. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his adorable wife, Kim; daughters, Deon Landry (Thomas), Tian and Christi Freeman of Houston, TX; stepdaughters, LaTasha Poree (Twin), Tarocheann Sterling (Jerry) and stepson, Landra Sterling; six grandsons, Marcus and Steve Seaberry, Ja'byron Collins, Machai Burns, Michael Freeman and Alin Williams; step grandchildren, Perry Powe, Jr., Jayceion Brooks and Jalaya Hamlin; great grandchildren, Autumn Seaberry and Aeson Collins; siblings, Deborah Cage, Rhonda Landry and Ava Mason; brother in law of Lisa Welch, Althea Smith, James (Porky) Cole, Kazell Weems-Gray (Ronnie) and Lois Washington. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, devoted friend, Ernest Johnson, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends, All employees of Louis Armstrong International Airport, Ochsner Hospital, TSA of Houston, Department of Children and Family Services and The Louisiana Child Welfare Training Academy, Tulane Neuroscience Clinic and East Jefferson General Hospital are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the Life of Mr. Warren Benjamin "Cherry Top" Freeman will be held at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10 AM. Interment Providence Memorial Park. Visitation 9 am in the church. A drive through viewing will be held at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 0n Friday, May 7, 2021 from 5 PM until 6 PM.
