Ceasar "Boogie" Green was born on June 10, 1940 to the late Gertrude Dutton and Sidney Green. He departed this life on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the age of 81. Mr. Green was a faithful member of Corinne Missionary Baptist Church, a devoted Saints fan, was loved by many people and loved to make them laugh with his jokes. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his loving wife, Lois Green. Father of Carlette Green (Durand), Gilda Green Walker (Willard), Tina Green, Latikia Williams and Nathaniel Green, the late Wayne, Garrick and Cheryal "Me Me" Green. Brother of Mary Ann Santiago, Victoria Poole, Debra Francis and the late Williams Poole. Also preceded in death by grandchildren, Eric and Raven Green. Other survivors include forty two grandchildren, ninety four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, a host of other family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. A Homegoing Celebration honoring the life of the late Mr. Ceasar "Boogie" Green will be held at Corinne Missionary Baptist Church, 5620 E Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA 70092 on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10 AM, Pastor John Bailey, Officiating. Interment Merrick Cemetery. Visitation 9 am in the church.
