Jermaine Martinez Green departed this life to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the age of 27. Beloved son of Martinez Green, Jr. and Michelle Ordogne Green McKay (Welton). In addition to his parents, Jermaine's memory will also be cherished by his loving sisters, Jawyan Banks and Sierra Green; grandparents, Erick Joe Ordogne, Sr. (Lolita), Gwendolyn Jones and Cynthia Banks; nephew, Hassan Cooper; pup, Kyler; uncles, Jeffery, Erick, Aaron, Robert, Alex and Kyle; aunts, Shantell, Erica and Cheryl; a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, other relatives and friends. Jermaine was preceded in death by his grandparents, Versey Marie Hughes and Martinez Green, Sr. Relatives and friends of the family; Pastor, officers and members of Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church and all neighboring churches of Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard Parishes; employees of the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office, ASM Global, University Medical Center and N.O.P.D. Crime Lab are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration Service honoring the life of the late Jermaine Martinez Green will be held at The Church at New Orleans, 11700 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans, LA 70129 on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 12 noon, Bishop Kevin Boyd, Host Pastor, Pastor Merlin Flores of Resurrection Church, officiating. Interment: Merrick Cemetery, Violet, LA. Visitation 11 am in the church. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating in the church is limited. Everyone in attendance is required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing at all times. Strictly enforced. A drive-through viewing will be held at Charbonnet Family Services, 4917 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA 70092 on Friday from 4 pm until 6 pm. Please remain in your vehicles.
