Lois Teresa Tyler Alugas, a retiree of Housing Authority of New Orleans, gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the age of 86. She was the only child born to the late Frank and Ernestine Tyler on August 18, 1935. Devoted wife of Herman Alugas for 64 years. Loving mother of four handsome sons, Eric Alugas, Lenny Alugas, Jeffery Alugas and Gregory Alugas. Proud grandmother of Brandon, Ernie, Malcolm, Alex, Alexandria and Paige. She was a wonderful mother-in-law to Freya, Teri, Elena and Stacy Alugas. Relatives and friends; Priest and Parishioners of Corpus Christi/Epiphany Catholic Church are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Lois Teresa Tyler Alugas will be held at Corpus Christi/ Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 12 noon. Interment Private. Visitation 11:30 am in the church.
