Rosemary Goodman, beloved widow of the late Alex Goodman, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. She was born on August 22, 1934 to the late Mildred Doneghy and John Stevenson in New Orleans, LA. Survivors include her sons, Daniel Douglas, III and Belard Ernest; grandchildren, Dana M. Douglas, Chad Cook, Harlan Carter, Ashley Ernest-Guice (Markel), Darius Ballom ; great-grandchildren, Charli McMillian, Liyah Ernest, Markel Guice, Jr., Tahj Carter, Harly Carter and King Carter. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goodman was also preceded in death by her brother, Peter Frank and a grandson, Daniel Douglas, IV. A Celebration Service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Rosemary Goodman will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation 12 noon in the chapel.
