Deborah Ann Griffin entered the heavenly gates on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Beloved daughter of Odessa Griffin and the late great John Tasker. Also survived by her children, Thalverlis Griffin (Shunnarah) and Shenita Griffin (Eric Johnson) and loving Godchild, Jaret Griffin. Sister of John Griffin (Gilda), Cynthia Hurst (Edward), Cheryl Richards (Keith), the Late Johnyl and Patricia Griffin. Mourned by her life long companion, Eric Matthews. Also survived by eight grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Deborah graduated from Booker T. Washington. She was a beautiful soul that will be cherished and missed by many. A Celebration Service honoring the life of the late Deborah A. Griffin will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 1:30 PM. Interment Private. Visitation 12;30 PM in the chapel.
