On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, Sadi Ahmad Armstead, 26 of New Orleans, LA was called to Heaven by his Lord and Savior. Sadi attended Northshore High School in Slidell, LA and Richmond Heights High School in Richmond Heights, Ohio where he was also a member of the football team. He was a gentle giant with a heart of gold and an infectious smile. Sadi loved music, sports, animals and preparing various cuisines. He leaves behind his beloved children, Sadie Alliyah, Sadi Ahmad and Sade' Alisse; devoted mother, Quinetta T. Armstead; siblings, Trenadad, Marlo Taylor (Kendrick and Masiya), Lillian Rose, Jaycee, Brook Lynn, Blake, Gabrielle and Gabe; Grandparents, Lionel Armstead, Sr., of Marrero, LA and the late Rosalee Haskin Chatman Armstead; aunts and uncles, Kimberly Chatman-Johnson, Kelly A. Chatman, Fannie M.Haskin (Leo Haskin, Sr.), Karen McCown, Nathaniel Armstead (Cindy Armstead), Frederick Armstead, Sr., (Debra Armstead), Byron, Lionel Jr., Darcellis, Trianna Everett, Olivia Armstead and Ashlyn Armstead. Also survived by a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. A Celebration service honoring the life of the late Mr. Sadi Ahmad Armstead will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 1 PM. Interment private. Visitation 12 noon in the chapel.
