Alvin Todd "World" Duplessis, Jr. was born on September 8, 1969 and stepped out of time into eternity on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the age of 52. Mr.Duplessis was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and was educated in the St. Bernard and Orleans Parish School Systems. Son of Martha King Anderson and the late Alvin Todd Duplessis, Sr. Stepson of Juarry Anderson. Spouse of the late Amie Cascio Duplessis. Father of Alexis H., Alyiah J. and Ashley N. Cascio. Grandfather of Derek Cascio and Envi Robinson. Brother of Dwanna (Herman) Bell, Bianca, James and Dylan Duplessis, Lois (Kevin) Major, Catherine (Eugene) Polly, Damion Green, Darius (Celena) Sykes, Althila Watson, Robert (Paula), Eric (LaDonya), Clarvette and Kevin Robinson; Darleen(Lionel) Smith. Son-in-law of Jimmie and Carol Taylor. Nephew of Barbara K. Williams, Georgia Mae Gibson, Rev. Eugene (Susan) King, Sr., Amelia Banks, Pete Peterson, Sr., Lawrence (Enola), Juliette Anderson, Louise (Shaun)Boyd and Donnell (Bobby) Harris. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Duplessis was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie King, Sr., Ernestine Bennett King, Frank Duplessis and Louise Green Duplessis; sister, Michelle W. Campbell, several aunts and uncles. Pastor, officers and members of Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, The Church Has Left the Building, First Asia, Ebenezer B., First Baptist and all neighboring churches; Employees of St. Bernard Parish Sewerage and Water, E&R Trucking, Trinity Learning Academy and all who knew and loved Todd are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration Service honoring the life of the late Mr. Alvin Todd "World" Duplessis, Jr., will be held at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA 70092 on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11 AM, Rev. Henry Ballard, Jr., Host Pastor, Officiating. Interment First Baptist Church Cemetery, 3737 Bayou Road, Verrett, LA 70085. Visitation 10 AM in the church.
