Obituary for Jacqueline LeBan

Our cherished Jacqueline "Jackie" Landry LeBan passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the age of 78. She was a devoted and supportive mother of Derek and Shannon Landry and Aries LeBan. She also loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and oftentimes, would call them her children instead. In addition to her children, "Jackie" is also survived by her grandchildren, Zandrella Trainor, Maurice Julian, Hassan Patterson, Falon Harris, Derek and Darron Santee; great-grandchildren, London and Lailah Trainor, Danielle, Tyran, Makayla, Khloe, Jamal and Leland Julian, Asyah Patterson, Hysone Carter, Faith, Chloe, and Gia Harris, Josiah Askew, Daylon Rankins, Darre'ne, Da'nyra, and Da'Leah Santee, and Star Landry; her new addition and great-great-grandchild, E'mauri Butler. Loving and dedicated sister of Lois Williams, Wilfred, Wilberina, Glenn (Renay), Donald (Valerie), Wanda, Gregory (Anita) Guy, and Yulonda (Cephas) Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph LeBan; former partner, Tinas Huderson; grandmother, Laura "MeMe" Predounce; parents, Eva Guy and Al Landry; stepfather Buddy Guy; brothers, Ronald and Wendel Guy; sister, Shelia Joseph and brother-in-law, James "Buddy" Williams. She and her childhood bff, Iris Harris were loyal friends. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Jackie retired from One Shell Square/Shell Pipeline. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" Landry LeBan in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10 a.m., Minister Michael Hughes, officiating. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70122. Visitation 9 a.m. in the chapel.
