Geraldine "Gerry" Marie Greenlee Martin, the oldest of eight children, was born on November 7, 1958 to the late John and Estelle Margin Greenlee in New Orleans, LA. She entered into Eternal Glory with her Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Beloved wife of Sidney Joseph Martin, Jr. for 42 years. Devoted mother of Sidney Joseph, III and Lorenzo John Martin. In addition to her husband and sons, Geraldine leaves to cherish precious memories, her loving granddaughters, Liberty (Libby), Serenity (Renny) and Ava Martin; brothers, David Sr. and Thaddeus Greenlee, Sr; sisters, Consuela Greenlee Smith and Tanya Greenlee; brothers-in-law, Wayne Martin, Sr. and Andre Smith; sisters-in-law, Wanda Martin, Theone, Terry and Sheila Greenlee; Goddaughters, Tanya Greenlee and Krislyn Watson; aunts, Marion Margin Hodge and Naomi Margin. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and co-workers. In addition to her beloved parents, Geraldine was also preceded in death by her siblings, Lynette Veronica, Christopher Joseph and Michael Angelo Greenlee, Sr. Relatives, friends and co-workers of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Geraldine "Gerry" Marie Greenlee Martin will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 3368 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 11 a.m., Reverend Jonathan P. Hemelt, V.F., Celebrant. Interment St. Louis No.3 Cemetery, 3421 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, LA. Visitation 10 a.m. in the church.
