Mrs. Alma “Honey” Bernadine Winand Shepard, age 74, a retired Pharmacist of 50 years and an entrepreneur,
entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 6, 2022. Alma is the daughter of the late Roy Winand, Sr. and Josephine Stokes Winand. She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Loving wife of Cephas Shepard, Sr. Alma is a graduate of Xavier Preparatory High School and Xavier University of Louisiana, where she received her Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy. Mother of Cephas Shepard, Jr., Cassandra Shepard and stepmother of Kiesha Shepard-Palmer. Also survived by eight grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Alma “Honey” Bernadine Winand Shepard will be held at St. Mark Baptist Church, 421 Wiltz Lane, New Orleans, LA70114 on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11 AM.
