Lionel Alvin Jones, Jr., was born in New Orleans, LA on April 7, 1951 and departed this life on Friday, April 1, 2022. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Darlene; children, Lionel, III (Ansel), Rynell (Ciara) and Demetrius; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Lionel Alvin Jones, Jr. will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 10 AM. Interment Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. Visitation 9 AM IN THE CHAPEL.
