Debra T. Francis, a native of Plaquemines Parish and Violet, LA passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the age of 69. Beloved daughter of the late Ruby Tally. She was raised by her devoted aunt, Gertrude and uncle, Julius Dutton. Companion of Kermit Williams, Jr. Mother of Decher Wilson. Grandmother of Tia Wilson. Sister of Mary Santiago, Victoria Green, Furtis Madine, Sandra Burns, Mercedes Coleman and Dwight Andrews, the late Freddie Dixon, Ceaser Green, Ricky Mae Andrews, Clarence and Ira Talley. She attended Phoenix High School. Devoted friend of Sheila Thomas and Carrie Williams. Debra was an employee of Chalmette Medical Center and Valero Refinery. A Celebration service honoring the life of the late Debra T. Francis will be held at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA 70092 on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11 AM. Interment St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, Chalmette, LA. Visitation 10 AM in the church.
