Mr. Ralph Keith Howard departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born on February 26, 1959 to the union of the late Henry, Sr. and Cleo Howard. Ralph was raised in New Orleans, where he had a loving and wonderful childhood. Due to Hurricane Katrina, Ralph and his family would spend the remainder of his life here on earth in Baton Rouge, LA where he would make many new friends and still be the life of the party. Ralph loved life and never allowed an opportunity to be with family and friends pass him by. Mr. Howard was educated in the Orleans Parish Public School System and was an avid reader and jokester. He leaves to cherish lasting memories, his wife of 41 years, Sandra Martin-Howard; children, Kevin and Patrice Howard; siblings, Carol Howard, Jerome, Gregory, Dwayne and Henry Howard; four brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Howard was also preceded in death by one sister, one brother and one sister-in-law. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Ralph Keith Howard will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 12 noon, Rev. Joseph Recasner, Pastor of God Our Father Baptist Church, officiating. Interment private. Visitation 11 a.m. in the chapel.
