Mr. David L. Jones, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the age of 54. Mr. Jones was born on June 15, 1967 to the late David, Sr. and Emma Jones. Loving father of Sandreka and David Horton. Grandfather of Shyla Horton. Mr. Jones was baptized at an early age and attended St. Michael School. He was employed as a custodial engineer for the Orleans Parish Public School system until he retired. In addition to his children and grandchild, Mr. Jones also leaves to cherish his memory siblings, Ronald James Leo Byrd James Mitchell, Rose Harrison, Vivian Taylor, Andrea and Denise (his twin) Jones ;devoted mother-in-law, Patsy Blackman; nephew, Jamal Jones, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was also preceded in death by grandparents, Willie Felton, Lillian P. Johnson, David and Elaine Jones; sister, Lillian Meade and his companion, Denean Horton. Relatives and friends are all invited to attend a memorial balloon release honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. David L.
