SHIZUKA ROBERTS OBITUARY
Mrs. Shizuka Ashino Roberts departed this earthly life on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Slidell Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of Sidney E. Roberts for 54 years. Mrs. Roberts was the fourth daughter born to the late Hachizo Ashino and Totono Matsuura on January 20, 1935 in Yamagata, Japan. Sister of Atsuko, Tadako, Toshiyuki, Takako, Nobuyuki and Reiko. Aunt of Michiyo, Tamao, Curtis Roberts (Alisha), Natasha (Troy) and Brittney (Sean). Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of the late Mrs. Shizuka Ashino Roberts will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2621 Colonial Blvd., Violet, LA 70092 on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 12 noon. Interment St. Bernard Catholic Church Cemetery, 2805 Bayou Road, St. Bernard, LA 70085. Visitation 9 am in the church.
