ESTHER LEBLANC OBITUARY
Mrs. Esther Hebreard LeBlanc, a native of New Orleans, LA, departed this life on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the age of 93. She humbly shared the love of Jesus to everyone around her. Esther loved God's Word. Daily, she would rise early, sit at her dining room table and read her Bible. She was the epitome of a praying mother and grandmother. Esther was an accomplished entrepreneur. She owned two restaurants, as well as a food truck. Esther encouraged a business mindset and several children and grandchildren have followed in her footsteps, continuing to carry out the legacy she has left them through her example. Mrs. LeBlanc is preceded in death by her husband, Robert LeBlanc, Sr; parents, Sidney, Sr. and Adele Hebreard; siblings, Myrtle Rose Boswell, Mary and Doris Mae Hebreard, Sidney, Jr., Serial and Clarence Hebreard; son, Leroy P. Smith; grandsons, Melvin J. Smith, Jr., Troy Davis and Rozono Smith; son-in-law, Adam House, Sr. She leaves to cherish precious memories, her children, Gwendolyn Davis (Art), Easter Price, Darnell House, Chandra Williams (Glenn, Sr.), Lenet R. Smith, Jr., Melvin (Jeanette) and Darial Smith (Drew). Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends. All are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Esther Hebreard LeBlanc will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 3368 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, LA, 70119 on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11 am, Father Jonathan P. Hemelt, Celebrant. Interment St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, 3421 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70119. Visitation 9:30 am in the church.
